BR Healthcare Services will use the following process for valuing a physician practice. The valuation will require a current property and equipment appraisal. The company will develop an understanding of the clinical and operational scope of the practice. BRHS will then evaluate:
- Flow of operations
- Billing, coding, collections, and accounts receivable
- Current staffing and personnel qualifications
- Productivity
- Office management / office operations
- Financial performance
- Asset values
- All existing contracts
- Compare practice operating indicators against MGMA / market standards
Develop a present value for the practice utilizing current reasonable standards according to MGMA guidelines and AICPA accounting pronouncements.
Upon completion, a written report will be presented covering the results of the valuation. BRHS will value the practice by every acceptable methodology that falls within the AICPA guidelines. BR Healthcare Services will work with the client to evaluate all of the valuations performed and develop the most appropriate valuation to present to the physician.
