Management Services:  Strategic Planning

BR Healthcare Services will work with Administration and the Hospital Board to develop an overall strategic plan for the facility. The company will review and evaluate service area profile, regional demographics by age, sex, income, and ethnicity, internal Hospital service information, medical staff demographics, and Hospital annual audits for the prior two years. BRHS will analyze all collected data and establish current Hospital market penetration and project future success or failure of the facility based on current operations. The company will then develop an assessment of the market, identifying strengths and weaknesses of the facility and any opportunities and threats posed by competitive hospitals and the government.

Utilizing the completed market analysis information a strategic plan will be developed in conjunction with the Board and Hospital Administration to prepare the facility for the future. The Hospital will have a more thorough understanding of its current status in the market and will be provided with possible avenues to pursue in order to enhance financial operations and meet community needs. These concepts could include expanding its current level of service, recruiting additional physicians, and/or developing strategic alliances with other healthcare providers. The ultimate goal of the strategic plan will be to ensure the provision of local healthcare services by improving market share, community image, medical staff perception, and employee morale.
