
BR Healthcare Services will meet with Administration and Governing Board to determine their philosophy and goals to be achieved in the negotiating/contracting process. The company will develop a set of guidelines to be followed outlining parameters established by the Board and Administration. BRHS will then meet with the physician(s) and begin the negotiating/contracting process.
The overall goal of involving a third party to handle physician negotiating and contracting is to eliminate the adversarial relationship which can develop between a Hospital and a physician or physician group during this type process. Anger and frustration are channeled toward the third party negotiating team instead of Hospital Administration and the Governing Board. This process is extremely effective when negotiating physician practice purchases, salary negotiations, and medical directorships.
